Our History

After 21 years of Corporate sales, management, and marketing experience with some of America’s finest companies, like Procter and Gamble, Campbell Soup Company, and Welch’s, a newly single father needed to be home each night with his four children. So our founder Bill Henson, went back to his roots of working in real estate. As a young man he helped his father build several homes, renovate many others, he helped sell, and helped manage rental properties. Now he had the opportunity to combine the excellent corporate training with passion and an old fashion work ethic to form a new real estate venture. He partnered with his mentor Dave Floyd, who had over 40 years’ experience in successfully managing real estate companies and his friend Trey Cain, who had several years’ experience in title litigation to form SilverPointe Properties.

In 2013, SilverPointe Properties merged with its affiliate company SilverPointe Brentwood. David Logan had also built a very successful company. Part of that company includes roots that go back to the 1940’s in Middle Tennessee when two very successful real estate pioneers Houston Ezell and R.C. Adams merged their companies to form ERA Adams Real Estate. Mr. Adams daughter was very active in the business as well as his grandson Bayron Binkley. Bayron went on the become President of the company and eventually sold the company to David Logan. Today, Bayron and 2 sons, Chris and Dale Binkley are now the third and fourth generation of the family in the business. They are an integral part of the SilverPointe Team and we are proud to have them.

In 2015 the Principal Broker, Dave Guilbert, was named the new President of SilverPointe Properties and continues to hold both positions. The company now has over 70 team members and five Brokers on staff. The Management Team includes: Bill Henson, Founder and CEO, Dave Guilbert President and Principal Broker, Trey Cain Chief Legal Officer, and Vice President Jane McDonald.

The hallmark of SilverPointe Properties is vast experience in corporate management. In fact, the management team has over 100 years of combined corporate management experience. Founder’s Message

Welcome to the SilverPointe Properties website. I would like to invite you to discover why hiring a SilverPointe Professional may be the best decision you can make for your Real Estate needs. We are “Business Professionals with a Passion for Real Estate.” Our story started on 9/11. As I arrived at the airport to board a flight for Dallas, I watched in horror as the events of that day unfolded. God impressed upon my heart that day that it was time for a change in my career. As a single dad, I needed to be at home each night with my children. I reflected on my experiences as a young man with my father building, remodeling, renting and selling homes. The entrepreneurial side of me was intrigued by a career in Real Estate.

The personal satisfaction you feel when helping clients find their dream home or sell their current home, helped make the decision simpler. I felt like the experience and skill sets learned over 21 years in corporate sales, sales management, and marketing experience would be a great foundation to draw on in forging a new career. After a successful stint as an agent, I knew it was time to realize my dream of opening my own company. After exhaustive due diligence, we identified the industry’s best practices and consolidated them into one business model. We established three main core values:

• To honor God as an organization and as individuals.
• To serve our community with integrity and professionalism.
• To teach and practice “client for life strategies.”

In September of 2005, along with co-founders Trey Cain and Dave Floyd, we opened SilverPointe® Properties in Franklin Tennessee.
From day one, we began recruiting business professionals to the team. We acquired a small Nashville based brokerage and recently completed a merger with a larger Brentwood based company. We recognize that our team members are not only agents but are our clients as well. They are treated with respect, dignity, and are given autonomy to manage their business. These principals and our unwavering commitment to our core values, is why a large majority of our business comes from referrals. Today we have over 70 agents and a management team that offers more than 100 years of corporate management experience. We are consistently one of Middle Tennessee’s Top 20 Residential Real Estate Companies.
